Couples Euchre

The next Couples Euchre is Saturday, Dec. 2 at the home of Mary Ann Donnelly.  We start at 7:00 p.m. sharp! Come join us!!  We welcome all members and spouses/dates or single gals in our Newcomers group and potential NEW members.  We rotate partners and move to different tables after each round, so it's a mixer, too.  Bring an appetizer or dessert to share, $5.00 per person and quarters for the euchre pot. Couples Bowling

If you want to meet new friends, come out and bowl with us this fall. We meet every other Friday at 7 p.m. at Troy Lanes. Teams consist of 2 men and 2 women. We have a great time—both teams sit together and no one smokes on our league at our tables. It’s a great way to meet other couples and have a fun night out.  If you are interested in subbing as a couple of singly, please email Darcel at darcelc@prodigy.net.  The start date is September 9, 2011.  Consider subbing if you cannot commit.  Hope you join us!

Ladies Bowling

We are always on the lookout for new people to bowl. If you are interested in joining, our league bowls every Tuesday from 9:15 am (practice) to 11:45 am for 32 weeks beginning September 6, 2011.  If you can't commit to every Tuesday, we can always use more subs for the league, so if you're interested, please contact Jane Egermann or send an e-mail to bowling_ladies@troynewcomers.entryhost.com

Ladies Games Night (Girls' Night Out)

The next Games Night will be at the home of Laura Carlin on Wednesday November 30th at 7:30.  We will be playing dominoes and giving out many prizes.  Bring five dollars in ones because we will have a lot of winners.  Please RSVP to Laura by Monday November 28th. 

If you are unable to host games night, please consider bringing an appetizer or dessert to help out the hostess.

Mah Jongg

Mah Jongg is a traditional Chinese game played with tiles in which you try to match a set hand to win.  We generally play on the 2nd and fourth Friday of each month September through June.  There will be only one date in December - the 9th @ 9:30 at Jane Egermann's.  Please see the newsletter for more information.

We enjoy introducing new people to the game and your preschool children are welcome to come along.

Meadowbrook Ushering

Our club is very lucky to have the opportunity to usher at Meadow Brook Theatre located on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester.  Each usher signs up for a specific day and time and ushers only once per play.  We currently have enough regular ushers but we could always use more subs.

Wine Tasting
