Let’s Get Social in May

Eastern Market will hold their annual Flower Day on Sunday, 5.19.24. If you have ever been, you know how wonderfully crowded the actual Flower Day can be. We plan to head down on the Tuesday AFTER Flower Day to Sheds 5 & 6. Great bargains can still be found and lots of choices but with minimal crowds. We won’t be carpooling because based on experience, you will want your space for all the wonderful flats, plants and flowers you will purchase. Bring a guest to help if you wish.
We have decided not to plan an official meal gathering but will be open to meeting for breakfast before or lunch after. As we get the roster of the members planning to attend, we will assess the desire to meet or not. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a wagon if you have one to make it easier to cart your purchases to your vehicle.

Hoping to see some friendly faces at this event. It is always fun to shop for flowers and see what others choose and get ideas you might not have thought of for your own gardens.
